Gordon A. Bussard, M.D.

Dr. Bussard earned his medical degree at The University of Virginia Medical School in 1969 and completed his ophthalmology residency there in 1973. A board certified ophthalmologist, Dr. Bussard established his private practice in Wilmington in 1973. He is associated with the Christiana Care Health System. In 1976, he implanted the first intraocular lens in Wilmington. Dr. Bussard specializes in no needle/no stitch cataract surgery and laser surgery.
