Angela I. Pellegrini, O.D.

Dr. Pellegrini graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in the Visual Sciences, and a Doctor of Optometry degree, at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia.  Dr. Pellegrini achieved clinical honors throughout her optometric externship rotations including primary eye care, ocular disease, and contact lenses.  Following Dr. Pellegrini’s optometric education, she completed a one year residency at The Eye Institute of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  The residency provided training in comprehensive, primary eye care with an emphasis on the treatment and management of ocular disease.  Dr. Pellegrini is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Pennsylvania Optometric Association.  She was also awarded membership to the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society.  In 2009, Dr. Pellegrini presented a poster at the South Eastern Congress of Optometry meeting in Atlanta.  She actively participates in providing educational lectures to the local community as well as professionally in the Philadelphia area.  She is working toward her fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry.  Dr. Pellegrini is dedicated to providing quality family eye care, contact lens services, and the management of ocular disease.
